This video will show you step by step instructions on how to reset your oil life indicator on a GMC Sierra 1999-2006.
Instructions:
- Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
- Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
- If the “Oil Life Reset” appears the system is resetting.
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset to 100%.
